I’m experiencing the same problem.

Do you have your laser set up correctly in lightburn?

I think so it does engravings just fine it will frame just fine

i have not found the problem yet

So you can send an engraving file from your computer and it’ll engrave just fine? We might need some screenshots of your settings to see what you’re seeing. Maybe even the lightburn file you’re having problems with.

It will engrave any file just fine. It will not do the line portion of a fill-line project. All it does is sit in one spot and fire the laser. Doesn’t matter what file I run it will not move the head at all when it is doing line commands this is a new ruida rdc6445g controller I’m replacing a trocen controller. 180 watt co2 laser made by goodsigns in China

Asking the team, we have not seen this behavior before, as you describe the issue. Fills work, but Line jobs do not move the gantry as expected. Have you tried to process line cuts using a different software such as RDWorks? This might help in eliminating software as the issue.

For clarity, you mention ‘Send’ the file. Are you using the ‘Send’ button when doing this? What happens when using ‘Start’ from LightBurn? When you use send, do you then start the job from the laser HMI panel on the laser itself? Help us to better envision your workflow, and we can go from there.

That is correct. Engraves great. Will not line ( cut). Even a simple square. Uploading: 3BF61E56-3063-4E87-BCB4-814E5A486D5B.jpeg…

How this malfunction starts?
Did you have any parameter changes before the issue arises?

I replaced a trocen awc708 controller with a new ruida6445g controller and my 220 volt laser tube power supply after tha laser arced and fried my controller my lap top through the usb cable and my exhaust all in a matter of 1/2 a second. Installed all new components that’s when issue arrived. After exhausting reworking the wires etc I ordered another ruida controller swapped out the wires as they were in the other controller so I just unplugged snd replugged into new. Problem solved. Controller bad from factory. Very frustrating just got it up and running this morning

Unfortunately we replaced the controller with another new one problem solved. Hope this helps. The controller with the issue was also brand new out of the box but was faulty from the start
