Not sure what is happening. I’m engraving on slate and every once in a while, the laser just goes to low power. Temperature is fine, connection is fine. I can engrave one and it will be perfect and the next one it will be missing a section. The laser still comes on but doesn’t even leave a mark.
Most of this stuff is very dependable and it rarely fails intermittently, although possible.
It’s more likely a bad wire/connector that is getting flexed at some point of the engraving and failing.
Usually you only have VCC, PWM and ground on the led module, so it’s likely the PWM or VCC (supply voltage) that needs to be followed.
Hardware breaks, software doesn’t break but has bugs.
