Laser Homing Position Issue - How to define new Home Position?

Hey guys, I need you help!

I recently bought this Atomstack A24 and currently I am building my setup to be able to really get into this Laser hobby.

My current problem is that now with the installed Z-Axis adjuster the homing function does not work anymore because the laser is now hitting the frame.
Thats a logic consequence of the extra 10-15mm between the laser and the frame because of the height adjuster.

I simply want to change the home position now by 15mm to avoid this from happening and reduce the engraving space by 15mm.

Is there any way to set a new permanent home position in lightburn?

After a little bit of research I now understand how to still operate the laser with a new set origin position.
Nontheless a change of the home position would make my life a lot easier.

Thankful for every idea!

Kind regards
Richard

I believe you can move it to position you want and type G10 L20 P1 X0 Y0 enter into console.

Unfortunately this won’t address the fundamental issue of homing not working because of the laser module colliding with the frame.

Examine the location of the homing switches. Either relocate the switches or devise a mechanism by which the switch actuation is done earlier. Typically placing a spacer or something else that can come into contact with the switch earlier is enough to address this.
