Not sure what to do when lasering vertically the image is not together horizontally is fine here’s some images
if i had to guess you have a problem of either belt tensions
Or your rapids on that particualr axis are too fast and you get slippage on the rapid moves between elements.
Only need to do it once to lose all tracking
Seems you lose steps multiple times though
Are you changing the scan angle?
I don’t get the difference between the two on how you did it…
The one on top was done horizontally the (rope lights, barber pole) the bottom one was lasered vertically which is messed up top one is fine.
I think you got that backward. Top one looks as I’d expect and bottom one looks whopper-jawed.
Looks like something happened at the left foot of the “barber pole”. In general, direction changes and curves look good, so I don’t think it’s gross mechanical slop. I’d lean toward a crash or binding at that particular location that caused some lost steps.
