My first question, is… Are you using a graphical image like a picture or a vector like a line drawing? Please take a screenshot to confirm. A picture of the reversed work can also be helpful.
The next question is, what material are you using? Some materials engrave lighter where it is shown as darker in LightBurn. Slate, acrylic and glass are often lighter where the laser is working.
It is unusual but possible. Some controllers allow the PWM signal to be inverted causing the behavior you’re seeing.
