new user. Been using my omtech80 watt laser with lightburn for 6 months until yesterday. Machine will not frame or start job. Emergency button is off, connection is solid. tried using the USB connection and cat 5 cable. Can ping the machine successfully. laser will move and pulse from the laser control panel. not sure if its the laser or lightburn software setting. lcorrect com port selected. Lightburn laser (bottom right) says disconnected. any suggestions?
I had this happen the other day. I selected a different com port then went back to auto. I’m using USB windows BTW.
Another thing to check is how many files are loaded onto the ruida controller. Once it get’s filled it does wonky things.

I’ll give it a try thanks. If I cant connect to the laser, how do I delete files in the ruida folder from the controller. Also I only have the auto option, no dropdown appears.
