Laser Master 2 focus problem

Hey guys,

my Laser Master 2 does only focus OK, when I bring the wood really close up to the laser. It never focuses to a dot, only to a string. going further, the string is so big, all letters look like calligraphy artwork.

With my Neje 20W I can easily focus to the base of the laser, meaning I could focus to the table the laser is placed on AND it is a dot no string, so whtas the matter ???
