If you reset lightburn to default back to original settings will you lose project files?

No, neither your settings nor your saved project files will be lost. But making a “Bundle” copy is always a good idea.

Thank Bernd, I’ll try that, I hope that will fix my issues with working with my files and machine movement outside of grid problems
If you tell us what those problems are, someone might be able to confirm the fix.
