I have the Sculpfun S30 Pro Max laser with the extension kit. I cannot get the laser to move the the proper position within LightBurn. It kinda skips along the path and stops well before it should. Then when rejoining, it goes to the bar and kinda keeps pushing like it’s not “home” yet. Any suggestions?
When you installed the extension kit, did you change the GRBL max travel parameters?
MikeyH makes a good point. After adding the extension kit, you’ll need to update your GRBL max travel settings ($130, $131, etc.) to match the new bed size. Use $ in the console to check them.
Check this guide, you also need to adjust the stepper current (but not as much as the initial guides suggest!):
