Laser Not traveling Full distance

I’m pretty sure this is a software or User Error. Here’s some Deets

Engraving Area: 400x400
Area to be Engraved: 285X285
Material: Slate Coaster(95X95)
I’m setting up for an engrave of 9 Total Coasters but during Framing the laser Travels the Left and bottom perimeter exactly how I expect it to and undercuts the top and right perimeter by approx 5-15mm.

To make it easier to center, I drew 9 Squares at 95X95mm. So the total 3 Coaster X 3 Coaster Setup should be coming in at 295mm. Each graphic I have sized to 85mmX85mm.

At first, my “template” was set as if the coasters were 90x90mm. Spent the last little bit updating it. But it’s still persisting. I think it’s a setting I might have messed up, but I’m not sure.

If I do a single coaster, it frames perfectly. So I’m looking for some advice.Picture of lightburn with everything arranged included.

The coasters are 95x95, but if you place them in the workspace, I guess it’s not possible to line them up perfectly, such that you will lose a few mm for each coaster. I’d put some 5 mm spacing in between the template and the coasters.

To check the mechanics: just draw a square of 200x200, engrave it to a scrap piece and measure if it’s correct.

Or they might not all be exactly 95x95, or even square. I get cork coasters from the same source. They have arrived with 3 different diameters, two even in the same batch. Wreaks havoc with the fixture I made. Fortunately none were oval. :joy:
