Laser not traveling past out line and burning outer layer of designs

Hi,

So im having an issue with the laser buring the outer layer of the designs after I trace a logo or design.

Its getting rid of the interval pass beyond the design and technically burrning twice it the same spot. The inside of the design is perfect.

Before I trace an object it shows the laser passing over and then coming back… after tracing it , the laser only goes to the edge of the design and then continues to burn the rest of the design.
