Laser not working - high voltage connection?

Hey there,
I just set up a new Joweuy 100W co2 laser. It worked for a few small projects/tests I did one day. The next time I went to use it, it decided not to work. It displayed 0 mA and didn’t make any cuts. When I pulse the laser and look at the tube I can see the light going through it, but there’s a “crack” type sound. I’m wondering if the high voltage connection might be faulty? Does anybody have another suggestion that could be causing the problem? It seemed to work on a lower power but not 20% or higher.
Thanks!
Baily

You say it yourself in your headline. There is likely an electrically poor/damaged cord or connection, from the power supply to your tube. Turn off the machine and check visual all cables and connections, typically you will find smaller fire marks or black spots on the cable.
To repair it requires special insulation material and knowledge.
