I have a 100W MOPA Galvo from Haotian using a 70x70mm work area lens. This is the first issue I’ve had since calibrating everything. I’m trying to engrave a bigger coin than I’ve done before (50mm) and I’m noticing that the bottom part of the coin is engraving, but much less than the rest and laser is visibly weaker when it passes over the area. This is true for both the 0 degree and 90 degree passes.
The coin is centered so the top should be equally close to the edge of the work area as the bottom but there’s no issue on the top. I checked the lens for smudges and it looks fine.
Searched the forum and the only similar sounding issues were for gantry systems.
