Laser Position Issues

I’m having laser positioning issues that I need help with. I have a Foxalien Masuter Pro that I recently started using and cannot seem to get the laser to move where I need it to go. I layout a project and then frame it and it seems to hit a limit switch and stops even though it’s not hitting the actual limit switch. Any help is appreciated, and I’m very new to this.

I am not expert by any means but the G54 offset numbers are extreme.
G54 as far as I am aware is where your work piece is in relation to the machine home.

Steve, I thought the same thing too. Are these $ settings that I can change, and what should I change them to? Any suggestions?

Okay. Position after homing is now 0,0. That may allow you to work properly.

I didn’t first confirm homing location, however. This assumes that your machine homes front-left. If that’s not the case then will need to adjust.

Correct, home position is front left. After the changes I ran the framing tool and it stopped after about 10 inches on the x axis…sounding like it was hitting the limit switch again. So after a little looking around I found out how much of a newbie I am. I had a piece of velcro holding my air assist line and the laser wire, and don’t you know it, it was indeed tripping the limit switch when it made contact with the velcro. So after I fixed that issue, the framing tool worked this time. Self inflicted issue. Thanks for the help.
