Laser power MIN / MAX?

Hi,
I am interested in what it means when I put the value of minimum power and maximum power - in line or fill mode?! I use Ruida with 80w CO2 laser!
Is the power variable when drawing a line, or filling according to some variables - or is the maximum power always used?
