I’ve checked $32 and it’s 1 and $30 is 10,000. The machine setting is also 10,000. So power scaling should be fine.
It also seems to cut better diagonally and doesn’t cut the same in straight vertical or horizontal lines. Where it didn’t do this prior to the update.
Update: “Load Prefs Backup” to late July when I started cutting and had positive results. YT Video from @TheLouisianaHobbyGuy and I’m back to screaming through material!
Settings apparently were 1750mm/m not mm/s. So big dummy slap in the face to me LOL
$30 on the machines should be the same as S-Value max in the software. If not they don’t know how to talk to each other. Much like Lightburn in inches and the machine in mm.
Setting $30 to 10,000 louses up your power settings as the default is 1000 for Lightburn.
This is really based on the range of the spindle. $31 should be 0 and $30 should be 1000, same as S-Value max.
This is how the range of the power is described to both parts. If Lightburn is set to 1000 and your $30 value is set to 10,000, then the machine at maximum power will appear to the device as 10%, since 10% of 10000 is 1000.
Thanks for the explanation! For whatever reason the Longer B1 is “1” not “0” and “10,000” not “1000”. I did make adjustments on the S Value to be compliant with each other and that initially solved my problem until the update. I still don’t know what changed but as soon as I did a Pref Backup everything was good to go again
