How do I make this logo look like the laser version image from this SVG file. Can someone direct me to a video?
Thx in advanced.
Do a inward Offset to just touch the next inner shape and set to fill.
Do a little Outward offset to letter G with the following options:
and set the resulting offset shape to the same layer (C27) as the dark shape.
Set layers to fill and adjust speed/power setting accordingly.

The way I handled the Packers logo is pretty straightforward. I was in Inkscape, but here’s what I’d do in LightBurn:
- Import the SVG.
- Ungroup the design.
- Select the inside ellipse (green in the original logo).
- Holding Shift, select the G (white in the original).
- Select Tools/Boolean Subtract to subtract the second selection (the G) from the first.
- Set the new shape (which is just the green of the original logo) to a fill of your choice, and do the same for PACKERS.
- If you want the outer ellipse to have thickness (like it is in the cutting board image), do a small offet as parsec showed and set it to fill.
(If you were cutting out the Packers G, you’d leave it as is and set it up for cutting as a “Line”.)
Adapting the Packers logo is conveniently straightforward. The New Orleans Saints fleur-de-lis took a little more creativity to come up with a pleasing adaptation, but hey, I couldn’t make coasters just for my team and leave my wife’s team uncoastered. (December 23rd is going to be an interesting evening, hehe.)
Well, anyway, GO! PACK! GO!
I suppose I should also add that you can do the same boolean subtract to get the yellow ellipse as a separate filled shape. Just duplicate the green ellipse, select the yellow, shift-select the green, and subtract it. Then do the G.
I was able to trial-and-error some half-dark settings on cork coasters to get a three-color result (dark, light, and untouched), which looked fine on the logo. I think I preferred just having an outside line to represent the yellow ring, but it’s easy enough to play around and make your own design choice.
parsec and Nathaniel, thanks again for your help
