I am very new to laser engraving and just recently received my Xtool D1 Pro. I have two Phrases to engrave on separate items (wooden boxes) both of the same material/thickness/finish. This I know because I made them. I used different fonts on each of the boxes. One was a more fine script font and the other one was more chunky. I would have thought the material settings would be the same for each but they burned completely different. The script font turned out perfect while the chunky font was flaming up all over the place and I had to shut it down. Can anyone help me out and let me know if I am doing something wrong?
