Laser stopping and re-homing?

Hello, this is my first time posting on here, I am new to laser use, and have been incredibly happy with my Lightburn software, however I have noticed since the latest update that the laser has been intermittently stopping halfway through a job and re-homing itself and starting again, but in the wrong position? Could this be because of the update? Can I go back to the last version?
This is the error code I received:
ALARM: Abort during cycle

Grbl 0.9i [’$’ for help]

[’$H’|’$X’ to unlock]

[Caution: Unlocked]

ok

Grbl 0.9i [’$’ for help]

ok

[0.9i.20150329:]

ok

Homing

I would appreciate your thoughts.

Doug

Are the positions of the X and Y axes at home position equal to zero?

This can be caused by sending a ^X to the controller.

“If you try to force stop a running program, it will hold the movement, make a 50ms delay, and then reset Grbl.”

I suggest you update to the latest version of grbl for your machine, I didn’t think version .9 even supported lasers…does it?

You will need $32 to handle some laser issues.

Good luck
