I am running 1.7.07. Burning a fill and line drawing. One forth of the way thru the burning ~1 hour, sometimes ~45 min, on the same drawing, the laser moves to the left, hits the limit and stops.
Console says:
Starting Stream
Layer C01
ALARM:1
Hard limit triggered. Machine position is likely lost due to sudden and immediate halt.
On my next try same result in a different area of the same program.
What is going wrong?

Can you send us a screenshot with your entire LightBurn screen showing the design and where it fails?
I found the problem. The x axis motor was failing and finally stopped completely. New motor in place and all is well.
