Laser tube compatibility

Hi,

I had a problem with my Chinese 60W co2 laser purchased from eBay. The tube was shorted. I bought a new one and there’s slight differences in the design so I’m not sure if I can use a new tube.

First of all new tube is slightly thinner. They both are the same length.
Old one has some metal things in the middle and the new on does not have them.

Old tube has letter FD written on it, new one has D.

Should I go ahead and replace it? Or would I need a different tube?
