Laser wont move after framing

Hey all! I have had my Jiccoda L1 for awhile but am still pretty new to it all. I have successfully run quite a few engravings and cut outs for template routing.

Just a few days go I started to run into an issue where I cant get the laser to to accept any commands after framing a project.
I will frame the project, it will stop at the end of the frame, not return home and then sit. If I try any other command, frame, move, start or even home, the progress bar in
light burn will show 'busy" the green bar will be 100% and it will say 100% even though the laser has not moved.

I cannot get it to do anything from here without reseting or powering off/ on.
Reseting by right clicking on the ‘device’ button will always send the laser back to home, but only infrequently do I get any control back. Most of the time I have to power cycle the machine.

If my first command is to start a job, it will run the project, but after completion I have no control again.

I thought maybe it was a bonding issue so I followed the bonding instructions I found in the FAQs, but that made no difference. I have also pulled and reseated all of the connections.

Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

The issue seems to be getting worse. Now sometimes even after power cycling it wont accept commands.
And it never goes longer than 5 minutes before shutting down.

Still no errors in the console and I cant get LaserGRBL to unlock, it just stays in alarm state all the time, so no help there.

Anyone have any thoughts???

It´s the only laser you have connected?
Could you try with another PC?
Could you post a project file (.lbrn2) where this happens?
With the above file click Save GCode and post here the file.

Also post your device (.lbdev).

Hey!
Thanks for responding. I will have to get back to you. I screwed up trying to reflash the firmware and its not connecting at all now.

If anyone has the firmware for a Jiccoda L1 and is willing to get me a copy that would be much appreciated.
The company seems to have disappeared along with any downloads or support

Finally got a fix:
Turns out a firmware refresh took care of all of my issues.
Took me a bit to get the right firmware but its running correctly.
