Hi Carsten, can you tell us which machine/controller you have?
On my Ruida controller I can determine the start and end position directly on the laser machine (Origin).

If it is a GRBL controller, you can use Set Finish Position to go anywhere you want.
If you want it to start in the same place every time, use Absolute Coords and read what @bernd.dk posted.
