When i laser on my ikier 36 watt diode the image that i laser is not the size i put in. On my xtool d1 pro i put in say 80mm by 80mm and thats the size it lasers with using creative space software. When i laser on lightburn with my ikier the size is twice the size when i put in for width and height and lasers way bigger any ideas please why the size is different?
Are these 2 different machines? Have you calibrated your stepper motors?
I dont know how to do that i will look, i just dont understand when you put in one size on my xtool d1 pro it does the size you put in, then on the ikier is way to big
These are 2 different machines?
Quite different. Yes.
So, you have one that isn’t working right. Is this a new laser?
Is it only Lightburn that it’s not working right on?
Both lasers work, its the ikier that has the issue with sizing, the xtool is on creative space. I have to basically make the image way smaller and keep screwing around with width and height when all i should have to do is put the size i want andvit should laser that size
An Xtool machine on Xtool software damn well better work right.
A random machine on a “universal” software is going to need detailed, complete, and correct setup and tuning.
I don’t have a rotary, so I can’t help with setup, but I do have a K1 and can say that once set up it’s very accurate and repeatable. You just need to iron out the wrinkles.
Did you notice when you laser a cup that the size was way off before you fixed the wrinkles?
I don’t have a rotary, so I can’t help in that specific area. Based on the number of support topics I see asking for help with them, I hesitate to attempt it.
Do a search here for “rotary” and you’ll get an idea of the kinds of issues people struggle to solve. Most seem to get there eventually, but not without some work.
Have some patience. Eventually somebody with rotary experience will pass by.
Does your Ikier work correctly on flat items? Being off in both axes with the rotary suggests to me there are some basic config issues that would affect flat items as well.
Somehow, I completely missed the rotary part.
