If a customer sent me a photo to engrave and wanted it as a round ornament. Is it possible to import the photo in light burn and then create a 3" circle that is the cut line, position that circle where I want it on the photo and then “weld” so the part of the photo is in the circle and the remainder is deleted.
Looking for a easy way to make this work. When I try to weld the image disappears, so im doing something wrong
Ah, no - not at the present. You would need to use an external image editing tool to clip the image in a round shape as you’d like. Image cropping is planned for a future release as you can see here: https://lightburn.fider.io/posts/374/to-crop-images, but today you need to do this outside LightBurn then import the result.
