LB burning lines bi-directional

I have an NEJE 6w diode machine. When I try to burn a test line, the laser stays on in both directions.

If I use their software (NEJE) the line burns one way only (as it should).

If use Bencutlaser, the line burns one way only (as it should).

If I use LaserGRBL, the line burns one way only (as it should).

So it seems to be a LB software issue. I must be missing something in my LB settings/configuration?

Thank you…

It would be useful to see some screenshots (please note, not phone camera shots of a screen please) of your settings the shape you are trying to burn etc? Perhaps your line is set to “fill” rather than “Line”? What happens if your test shape is a square and not a line? Does the laser diode stay on during traversal moves?

LB is not doing the bi-directional today. Not sure how or why it went away on it’s own but it did.
Thank you for the response.

You can enable/disable it on the cut layer… it’s only available with image and fill…

I had my line set to ‘Line’, not ‘Fill’ and that Bi-Directional switch was off (to the best of my knowledge it was off but for sure I had ‘Line’ set so the Bi-Directional switch should not have mattered).

Don’t think bi-directional is even available doing just a line.

The menu will change depending on what the hardware can actually do.

It will only display options that are available in the current mode and hardware.
