The capture overlay button keeps greying out in lightburn. We recently installed this camera.
I have attached the log file, perhaps you know what’s wrong.

Not sure if this is the case for you but this can often occur after the computer resumes from sleep. In that case, switch camera to “None”, then back to “LightBurn Camera”.

Thank you for the tip. My computer generally does go to sleep. However switching from none to lightburn camera isn’t fixing it. And closing and restarting lightburn doesn’t fix the issue either. But there is times when its working, so maybe after the first time the computer sleeps, it just bugs out lightburn and maybe some type of cache file for the remainer the computer is on. So I’ll do a full restart and see if the grey-out goes away and for how long.
After a full restart and not letting the computer go to sleep mode. The camera update overlay is working as it should. I will update again if this begins to fail again after sleep mode.
Ok its definitely sleep mode when its overnight. I need to entirely restart the computer and laser engraver in order to get the camera over lay to work properly.
This is not ideal and tedious. It shouldn’t be an issue in my opinion since most computers are left on.
After continued use. The camera part of the software is buggy. I’ve done full restarts and the camera overlay wont update. It seems to be picky/choosey when it wants to work.
How can we find out the issue? Is there a link somewhere else on the forums?
