Lightburn camera out of focus on my Laguna LaserMX

I am looking for feedback from someone who also has a Laguna LaserMX. I have 2 questions that I would love to get feedback for:

  1. What model Lightburn camera do you use?
  2. Do you have issues seeing a sharp, clear image of material on your laser bed?

I purchased the 8MP LightBurn Camera (4K-W) - 85 Degree camera based on the Camera Selection Help tool in Lightburn. I also bought the mount to ensure total capability.

I can’t obtain a good, sharp view of anything laying on the laser bed. I adjust the focus and lighting and it’s always blurry. This makes aligning anything with the camera extremely difficult. (and yes, the camera lens is clean as a whistle).

Anyone else out there have the same issue? I’d appreciate your feedback and guidance.

My suggestion is to see if the camera will focus on anything at any distance. If it is auto-focus and it will not, send it back for a replacement…
