I have purchased a new Monport 80 watt auto focus 36"x24" CO2 laser engraver that has not been set up yet. I would like a recommendation for a light burn camera for my specific CO2 laser engraver. All help would be greatly appreciated. I’m assuming that someone has already went through and installed the camera on this make and model of laser engraver.
Thank you in advance,
Ron
Have you looked at Help->Camera Selection Help from within LightBurn? That will guide you as to the specific LightBurn camera that would best fit your laser and at what height. If you don’t use a LightBurn camera it would still give you an idea as to the specifications required.
I have not, because I don’t have a permanent place for my laser engraver and it hasn’t been set up yet. I purchased the engraver now because of the special pricing that they have now. I was hoping that someone in the community has the same engraver and has installed a Lightburn camera on it and could let me know which camera it was.
Thank you in advance for your help.

In that case I’d actually suggest you first get your laser setup and get acquainted with its function before adding a camera. This will get you a better idea of what your needs are and also familiarize you with some of the idiosyncrasies of your particular machine that you may want to work around.
The actual selection process is relatively straightforward using the Help function if you use a LightBurn branded camera. Things are less straightforward if you go with an alternative camera due to the large variety and specifications.
Thank you for the advice!
