Lightburn camera setup issues

OK, so I bought a fisheye light burn camera sometime ago and I’m finally getting around and getting it installed… I’ve gone through the calibration four times and every time when I get done, the bottom pinches in like you can see in the photo… Any idea what’s causing that and how I can fix it

I assume that it is your CO2 laser that you have purchased the camera for. There is a step, probably in lens calibration that is not ok. Another possibility could be that you are not following the target order during camera alignment.

The wider angle you have, the more distortion there is in the image. The algorithm needs to calculate a sphere image to a plane. This will lead to some cutoffs at the edges.

It’s better to have the camera mounted as high as possible with the least angle you can get. But you can also try to do the calibrations again a few times, this is required sometimes.
