i got my uv laser from china, had it first connected but did a reinstall of lightburn and now lightburn can not find my laser
Did all what i can find and can do, the laser is in the hardware list as lightburn/bjjz ezcad2 loader
Hi Roman
No expert here..but I had this issue or something similar yesterday. I went to the machine profile for lightburn on the manufacturers website and downloaded it again, then lightburn was able to find it.
Im sure that helped because it became an option in the dropdown box and it worked ok.
Looks like, you successfully installed the driver.
In your screenshot, you are using the “No Machine” dummy profile. This device type can’t connect to any laser.
If you had it working before and didn’t delete the backup when reinstalling, you should be able to restore the device with the Prefs Backup.
Else, follow these instructions to add your Galvo to LightBurn. Make sure to import your manufacturer’s config file:
This means, you only have a Core version of the license key. LightBurn Pro is required to use Galvo and DSP devices - You can temporarily deactivate your license and use the free trial.
To do this, go to ‘Help > Licence Management’ and click the “Deactivate License” button. This will revert you back to a Trial ID, instead of your License Key.
Then the trial version should take over, allowing you to add Galvo devices. You can always re-activate with your license key at any time by going to “Help > License Management”, or from the popup screen when starting LightBurn.
It is likely that your trial has expired - you can extend your trial yourself by selecting ‘Extend’ in the License window you accessed previously.
When you are happy with how it works, you’ll need to purchase an upgrade to Pro for your existing license key on this page:
