I am using Ubuntu 22.10 (kinetic) Since I ordered a laser cutter but haven’t received it yet, I wanted to check out their software. The download, the installation and the first start worked without any problems. I could look at their program with peace. However, when I try to run your program again, the program starts, the license page comes up with the number of days left, and when I click OK, the program closes after 2 seconds without any feedback. This is repeated after each program start. I also installed the demo version on a Windows computer, where it works without any problems.
I’d like to confirm that you’re experiencing this on 1.3.01. I’m reporting this internally to our testers. I don’t have a linux machine.
There are a number of issues with the newer versions of Ubuntu. For best results I recommend running on 20.04 LTS.
