Hi.
I’ve been using Lightburn for a couple of months now with no problems until this morning. I started with Version 1.4.03 and have updated twice as newer bug fixed versions have become available. I’m now running V.1.4.05.
This morning when I “Trace” an image and then select Offset Shapes to put a border around the image it crashes Lightburn and I get the Not Responding message and have to close the program. I tried going back to v.1.4.04 and it’s doing the same thing.
Any help and advice will be gratefully accepted. Many thanks in advance.
OK…
As is typical in these instances, I’ve sorted it out. I had traced the image twice and stacked the two layers together to combine them. Thats what was causing the problem. I’ve just tried it again, but only using a single tracing and then Offset, and it worked. I have used it with the double stack before, but for some reason it didn’t want to play this time.
Wanted to add that Lightburn crashing when I use the offset tool happens to me. I’m also using v1.4.05, on a Macbook Pro w/ 64gb of RAM FYI. Whenever I use the Offset Shape tool, it brings up the dialogue box that asks me the distance, but once I hit “OK” it crashes/quits Lightburn instantly.
