Lightburn disconnected and will not reconnect

Lightburn 1.4.01 suddenly disconnected after using it all day. I have tried changing ethernet cables, I have even used my other computer that has lightburn on it. Still nothing. I have changed the IP address on machine and software, still nothing. I have tried everything. Its a Thunderlaser Nova 63/130 watt. Please any help would be greatly appreciated. Have customers waiting. How can I fix this?

Machine will work when I use USB stick, but have never had to use USB stick and it takes too much time.

Also I just pinged the address and it says 4 sent 4 received 0 lost

Did your system reboot that may cause the router and issue it’s IP to another device?

Is the address you’re pinging actually the Ruida?

It’s address is static.

Nothing changed or rebooted. Ran all day then all the sudden disconnected. Hooked directly to back of PC to verify gigabit switch was good. I have tried everything. Typed in IP address just like the Ruida controler had and still no go. Getting very frustrated. I have tried other IP addresses on both machine and PC, still nothing. I have tried new cables, nothing.

The address i pinged was tge IP address on the Ruida. 192.168.40.xxx

The Ruida? Unless you change your Ethernet port it may not talk… It’s static and most machines are dynamic…

I highly doubt it’s hardware… if you can see it on your network.

Doubled check the device setting to ensure it’s on the correct IP and no other device has been issued the same IP.

The best way is to note the MAC address of the Ruida…

Hardware today is really dependable, so I’d have left it and looked at some kind of software issue before going to hardware.
