Why will LB not open from within a file folder?
I have to start LB from my desktop, then go into a folder and click it to open.
It used to do it.
Are you trying to say that LightBurn doesn’t launch when you double-click a LightBurn project file?
Your explanation isn’t clear.
sorry, yes that’s what I’m saying.
it will open just fine after i open it from my desktop.
Only then can I open the program from a file folder.
It will not open from a saved file…
i don’t know why.
It worked perfectly before…
Press Ctrl + Shift + Esc. Do you have more than one copy of LightBurn running in the task manager? If one is crashed and hasn’t shut down yet, that could be why.
WOW,
That seemed to be why.
It works perfectly again.
Thank you.
When you double-click a file, LightBurn does a soft-launch, checks to see if there’s another copy already running, and if so, sends that copy a command to load the file instead, and quits. So if there was one running, but it was hung, that would cause the behavior you saw.
Thank you for your support.
