Hello everyone, I am fairly new to lasers. The one thing I did find in my research before purchasing is that Lightburn is pretty much the industry standard, and can be used with almost any laser.
I bought this knowing if I need to upgrade or get another laser, I wouldn’t have to relearn proprietary software.
I have version 1.7 installed. I have an issue that when I click the stop button, the software freezes and then stops responding. This same scenario plays out at other times, but they seem to be random.
I have Windows 11 installed, completely updated. So I am wondering if there is a known issue with a windows update that might cause this behavior.
I have uninstalled 1.7 rolled back to 1.6 and I got the same results. So I reinstalled 1.7, knowing this is what I want to run.
I have checked my enent viewer and the logs show very generic: The program LightBurn.exe version 0.0.0.0 stopped interacting with Windows and was closed. To see if more information about the problem is available, check the problem history in the Security and Maintenance control panel.
I dont know why it says Version 0.0.0.0. I have 1.7 installed.
I am using a GweikeCloud 55w co2 laser.
Any ideas?
