LightBurn comes with the ability to install the license on 2 different computers by default. And, if you e-mail and ask nicely, they will give you a 3rd seat for free. All outlined in the official docs here:
They both use design files on a shared drive in the file server, so:
Save & close upstairs
Load & burn downstairs
The trick: do not have the same file open at the same time in both places. Both LightBurn instances will (try to) use the same backup file in the same shared directory, which leads to heartache & confusion.
This is using Linux with NFS on all three machines. Judging from the horror stories around here, Windows + shared drives introduces an entirely new level of misbehavior.
