Hi Forum,
If I import an NC file from lightburn into my 1F Foreman, I notice that it doesn’t start from the origin of the machine. In my file I use workpiece origin. But as the picture shows it starts completely in a different direction.
This my order of working:
Start the 1F
Home the machine
Load file
set 0 manually on the workpiece (position laser and when done tab XYZ as 0)
I wonder, if I home the machine, should XY be on 0
If that’s how you want it to work then try setting the Start From field in Laser window to “Current Position” prior to generating the gcode. Make sure you change the relative 9-dot Job Origin to the relative starting position that you expect. Based on your workflow it sounds like you expect this to be the center position but can’t tell.
