Been using lightburn for awhile now and have never had any kind of issue that I could not figure out on my own. Just today, I was asked to make a family ornament for someone and discovered (after I ran the job unfortunately) that the output of the job did not match the actual design. I do not ever make any changes to my settings so I’m not sure why LB is doing this all of a sudden. See the screenshot below to see what I mean. Also, this is happening on 2 different instances of LB. I have it installed on my office PC so I can design stuff in the house but I also have LB installed in a PC in the garage that is connected to my laser. It looks like there is some kind of offset making everything fatter than its supposed to be or something…any help is appreciated!
Can you upload your file?
Make sure you don’t have any kerf offset.
Thanks for the reply…I just figured this out literally 10mins ago. I had a kerf offset of .100 outward set. I don’t think this has caused an issue for me before but as soon as I noticed it and set it to 0, the preview looks the same as the job. I’m currently running this again as I type this but I could already tell that its looking much better now. Again, thanks for taking the time to reply to this. Merry Christmas to you!
