Why doesn’t the ‘Fill only selected’ parameter work? I turn this option on and off in the menu, but it still wants to engrave everything on the workspace. How can I set it to engrave only the selected objects like it worked in the stable version 1.7?
Where is this parameter?
There is fill on the layer and cut selected graphics in the laser window.
It might help if you gave us an idea of what you’re doing so we can see how you’re attempting to use the software.
When you select something, it has to be a layer, which describes the operation, including fill.

Do you have the selected graphics set to “output” in your layers ?

@Kosak_UA , yes, this is working as designed. The ‘Cut Selected Graphics’ option found in the ‘Laser’ window is saved in the project file, but otherwise it defaults to whatever the ‘Default “Cut Selected” State’ checkbox is set to in the ‘Settings’ window.
