I am having a problem with LightBurn and two different CO2 machines, different brands, but same symptoms. Ever since I updated LightBurn to version 2.1, whenever I send a job to the machines, the wrong speed settings come through. For example, today I was cutting 1/16" acrylic and sent the job settings with 15 mm/s and 75% power (using my TL Nova Plus 24), and the machine got the job as 6 mm/s and 75%. The other day I was using my Rose Graphix 150W to cut 1/2" plywood, and sent a job with 8 mm/s and 65% power, but the machine received 3 mm/s and 65% power. Does anyone have any idea why this is happening? The only thing that has changed in my workflow is the version of LightBurn. I’m running a MacBook Pro M1 Pro with macOS 26.5.1 Tahoe if it helps. I am having the same issue. I just did the update this morning and now I can’t even cut 1/8" wood that I cut without issue yesterday! I have looked through settings and can’t seem to find anything out of the ordinary.
Thank you!!! You were right in the money! This was changed to inches per minute, which does translate to 6 mm/s as I had previously noted in the controller’s display.
By default, Control Units and Design Units are linked, so switching between millimeters and inches for either one will switch both. To unlink the two types of units, turn off the Link Control and Design Units toggle. To relink them, enable the toggle.
