I finish a job, head goes to specified location at back of machine. I load a new file, press home. Head goes home. Status stays busy. Cannot frame, or start. Must restart software, reload file, and then everything works fine. Until I load a new file, then BUSY.
Very frustrating.
What happens if you frame from the position, it was in without homing?
Well, I hadn’t tried that yet. But, amazingly, it frames without incident.
Any idea why homing is hanging it up?
Not sure but I only home if I shut off controller or I know things got moved.
