Lightburn tool row is not lit up along with other areas

I just downloaded lightburn. The Whole top 2 rows are not lit up.

Can you include a screenshot of what you’re seeing?

Check the preferences and make sure Beginner Mode user mode is not selected.

In the layout space mode, go to Window> select Reset Window Layout.

That’s odd indeed. Are you running any sort of Windows theming program or anything that would the look of applications?

Have you rebooted the machine since installing LightBurn? Might be worth a shot.

@JohnJohn, I recall you mentioning similar cases to this. Is there a known cause and fix?

Could it possibly be a monitor problem? I noticed some of the text is blurry. Its a very old monitor just pulled out of storage

I have rebooted the computer. I have uninstalled lightburn and reinstalled it. The computer is brand new.

I think it’s your theme that’s making it impossible to see the icons. I suspect they are there. Can you try changing themes?

This looks like Dark Mode but that feature isn’t ready yet. The test versions look similar to what we’re seeing here.

Windows 11 shouldn’t be able to force LightBurn into Dark Mode but user-installed apps may be able to do it.

LightBurn does not have any Dark Mode features in the 1.4.03 build.

This appears to be a high-contrast display mode option in Windows 11. I will attempt to replicate it to confirm.

You are correct. My computer was in high contrast mode. Thank you everyone!
