Lightburn, Turns file icons Black, 0,0 crash

In Windows 11 pro current build fully updated (and verified). When lightburn is started and then you choose {open file} or {import file} ETC. the folders that you move through to get to your file or image the folder containing your work lightburn changes the icon to black and also every folder you went through to get there. repeatable all day long. it is obnoxious.
2. Lightburn when opened a work file throws a node to 0,0 if unchecked and erased, Crashes the software and the project you are working on.
3. Put in a system properties GLOBALLY TURN OFF OVERSCAN, as your overscan, whatever its intent, pushes the machine past the confines of the machine. it IGNORES (IGNORES) IGNORES the homing switches and soft limits in the firmware. Our shop has wasted more time turning the thing off than even using it because it subtracts usable work area. it is fine you want it, but please for the love of baby Jesus, put in a setting to just turn it off for the people that dont need to use it.

I have Windows 11 Pro, latest upgrades etc… When I run through { file } {Open}
I do not get black folders…

I have no opinion on overscan option, other than than your laser controller should stop on past limits… but I don’t know what controller you have. I have a XM-1060 and have not seen your issue. In my system, LightBurn merely uploads the file to the controller and sits back. So, the controller is moving things after the upload.

I don’t know what node 0,0 issue is exactly, so I can’t replicate it here .

Without screenshots or more info of wht you’re talking about it’s hard to help. That being said the black icons appear to be a Windows problem, not Lightburn. Quick Google search showed quite a few similar issues.

Not sure what you mean by throws a node to 0,0. There again some supporting info would help.

You can select a layer, turn off overscan and click the make default for all button at the bottom of the cut settings editor. That would keep overscan off… until you load a file with it saved as enabled.

Without knowing your workflow I have some suggestions for you. Turn on “Enable Out of Bounds Warning” in Device Settings and “Ignore out of Bounds Shapes” in Settings.
