The author talks about adding a laminate to the faceplate of old electronics boxes. This allows him to repurpose used boxes for new projects. He continues describing his projects using a $200 5w laser and the possible software choices for doing the artwork. Then comes the good part:
That said, my favorite is a paid program ($60) called Lightburn (www.lightburnsoftware.com). Lightburn simplifies the process by combining both the 2D CAD function and the laser control in the same software.
