I updated to LighBurn v1.7.03 and found that my drawings that were in Inches, burn in mm.
So, a 14" circle if the UoM is left in Inches, burns as a 14mm circle. If I change the UoM to mm before the burn, the 14" circle burns at the correct dimension.
I’ve been through the settings, but do not recognize any of them that would automatically translate a UoM of Inches to be mm in the execution.
Are those drawings done in LightBurn or another program?
If the latter and you’re importing DXFs, then:
The Auto-detect units machinery sometimes detects the wrong units, so, if the drawings are always in inches, forcing the outcome may increase overall happiness.
If they’re starting out as LightBurn drawings, then something else is amiss.
You may want to load the preferences auto-saved before doing the update:
There seems to be a universal jank afflicting recent updates, although I have not seen a plausible explanation. Restoring a set of pre-apocalypse preferences seems to fix themess for most folks, so that’s certainly worth trying.
