I downloaded LightBurn to my desktop computer and it works fine.
Problem 1) Except that I need top find a translator program to transfer my Canvas (CVX) files (drawings) to a version of (DXF) that LightBurn can use. Saving the CVX files as DXF didn’t work.
Problem 2) Copying LightBurn via flash drive to my Laser computer, which is isolated, didn’t work.
Lenovo Think Center mini (running Windows 10) keeps showing message program version will not run on this computer, see program author for correct version. I have the x64-based PC running fine, the Lenovo shows system type as X86-based PC. Both are windows 10 systems.
Looking for answers please. BTW my laser was built by Yueming Laser/Dongguan City Power Laser Technique CO.,LTD (CM1263). Suggestions, direction appreciated.
I’m not familiar with Canvas. What version of DXF does it export? It’s possible that LightBurn may require an older version of DXF. If you can choose DXF version try an older version. Likewise, if you can export to SVG or AI formats those are also supported.
Download the 32-bit version of LightBurn and try it. Or consider upgrading to 64-bit if that’s an option.
Thank you, I downloaded the 64bit version and that did not run on the Lenovo X86-base PC. Will try the 32-bit version. appreciate the suggestion.
