Hello, I’m hoping you folks can help me. I Have a Longer Ray5 20w laser. I have been using Lightburn without issue for nearly the whole trial length. I got a new computer, and down loaded Lightburn, and went ahead and purchased the license. (gcode) Now it is not working properly. It seems the laser is only coming on about 1% no matter what percentage I set it at. I can turn the laser on manually on the laser itself, and it works all the way up to 100%, but not when I run a file. My S-value is set at 1000. I dont know what setting to look at, or where to go from here.
I have it set on GBRL, com3
Can anyone help me?
OK, I just figured it out. the mm/in was set to mm/sec. Changed it, and so far its working.
