Linear Guide Rail Lubrication

Hi Guys, I was wondering what are you using to lubricate your linear guide rail, oil or grease? How to do apply it?

Heavy Duty Silicon lubricant that came in an are-sol can. Bought at walmart. It was in the automotive section.

I have central lubrication and use 20w40 engine oil for it

I use white lithium grease.

On my CNC Spindle, similar to @Andreas, I have centralized lubrication and just use 0W-20 Mobil 1 or 5W-30 Mobile 1 (because the cars do).
