I have an atomstack A5 and have had it for some time. I have ran into some alignment issues. when I put a cut file on the screen and move the laser on a cup (using the chuck rotary device) the laser moves about 2.5 times the actual distance (ie. 9.5 inch circumference with a 9 inch tall cut image spins the cup 2.5 times). when I actually burn it though it will burn to the expected size. this also occurs with frame function…Furthermore if I align it to a spot the laser offsets about 64mm. there is no offset selected. I have been manually positioning my projects and when I see where it cuts I stop it…move the cup and then restart. like i said test images line up with the correct dimensions…is it possible to set it back to default? thank you and merry christmas…B
Please post a screenshot of your entire Lightburn screen with your project loaded and the Cuts/Layers Panel and Laser Panel visible and a screenshot of your rotary panel.
Have had several issues last month but here is the latest.
I found the settings changing on the rotary set up and defaulting to 360 as opposed to the 165 I have now. dont understand why it changed without my input. I am using a surface pro currently. thanks
Not sure why your settings would change either, unless you updated Lightburn. Sometimes the settings don’t carry forward and you need to reload an old preferences file from before the update.
As far as your first post, if you’re using the arrow keys to turn the rotary this makes sense. The move arrows don’t account for any rotary scaling, but the frame operation does. The issue is described in this thread.
